Does the Mfgr have to state this in the installation instructions or product information in order for it to be a code compliant install? A lot of times it makes for an easier installation if you have all that open wiring space bringing circuits into the top of the panel. WebFeb 20, 2006 · Yes both panels were installed “upside down”. There are a few other issues that I found with the main panel that makes you wonder just how hard it is to get licensed as an electrician in Texas. But this one is not as bad as others I have seen. I think the bigger problem is the AHJ not doing there jobs as carefully as they should.
