It only happens when I wake the monitor and I don't notice my refresh rate or Freesync being turned off, but any errors like this has me worried. What I had in my mind when I wrote about normal UDLD mode was that on fiber ports of a certain type, I believe that breaking a single fiber can be detected by Layer1 means and so the port will go down even without help of UDLD.
