Fuel is getting to the unit, at least up to the connector on the throttle body. I hear fuel injectors "click" when key comes on. All wiring is as directed. White Wire = Key 12 V. WebSep 6, 2024 · Found out the white wire from the fitech needs 12v when key on "and when" cranking. once I got that wire hooked to the right voltage it fires up first turn of the key. I'm considering FiTech on my '74 Scout 304. What distributor are you running on your 392 and is it controlled by the EFI ECM? Are you happy with it's performance so far?

Make sure the pump is connected to the hose for the pump mount is tightly sealed. When I first tried to start after my install, it would not fire up either. WebMar 8, 2024 · The white wire just gets a 12v signal that the system needs to be powered up and operating-it doesn't really carry any current. The main current feed wire is the red to the battery. I would also check the ground on the HI-6 to make sure it’s a solid connection. Re-Did the grounds, will try the tach. One thing I have not checked is vacuum.
