Survivability is far more sensitive in green hell but i enjoyed the story and ending of the forest way more. The Long Dark doesn't even have buildings thay you can build and 90% of subnautica is building outposts … WebGH is even more janky, but has far less atmosphere to offset it. TLD also just has a lot more unique mechanics for its setting than GH, making it feel more immersive. Though be warned that TLD is super punishing at first until you learn to be take very calculated risks.
